Tbear & Root 66 consists of the teddy bear himself, Richard TBear as the lead vocalist and keyboardist, Denny Seiwell on drums, Laurence Juber and Jon Woodhead on guitar, Joe Sublett on tenor sax, Mark Pender on trumpet, Richie Labamba Rosenberg on trombone, Josh Sklar on guitar, Maxwell Butler on organ, and Paul Ill on bass.
As you’ll be able to tell from the sound they produce, these guys have been in the game for a while and are all very accomplished. Tbear & Root 66 is a conglomeration of artists who have toured and recorded with: Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Little Feat, The Rolling Stones, Crosby, Stills & Nash, James Brown, Bob Weir, the Blues Brothers, Leon Russell, Cher, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bonnie Raitt, Taj Mahal, Conan O’ Brien, and Richie Havens. Joining them onstage recently was guitar legend Kenny Wayne Shepherd.
This is live music the way it is supposed to be heard and savored. The Root 66 Buzz has started and a groundswell of fans follow this band to every gig.
